This past weekend, we continued our fight against food insecurity with another successful monthly food distribution, hosted at Marie Curie High School in the Bronx. Families from across the community came together to receive fresh produce, pantry staples, and essential items but just as importantly, they left with a renewed sense of connection and support.
With the help of our incredible volunteers and partners, Theory 9 was able to serve hundreds of families, ensuring that tables were filled with healthy meals and hearts were lifted with hope. The distribution wasn’t just about handing out groceries it was about building trust, unity, and resilience in the neighborhood we proudly serve.
“Events like these remind us that we are stronger when we stand together,” said [insert staff/volunteer/partner quote if you’d like]. “Food is essential, but so is community. And that’s what Theory 9 is all about.”
The school’s warm partnership made Marie Curie H.S. the perfect setting for this event, as families gathered in a safe, welcoming space to receive resources and engage with neighbors. Many took the time to learn more about upcoming Theory 9 programs, from health and wellness to Rising Kings Basketball, showing how deeply connected these efforts are to building a stronger future for our youth and families.
Theory 9 is proud to continue leading monthly food distributions along side the NY Common Pantry across New York City, fighting food insecurity one family at a time. We thank NY Common Pantry, Council Member Sanchez, Boost Mobile, CPRF, Broad Street Global, Marie Curie H.S., our all our volunteers for making this month’s event a true success.
Together, we are not only feeding families — we’re feeding hope.
