On February 24, 2023 in honor of Black History month a proclamation was be presented to Theory 9, by New York City Council Pierina Sanchez of the 14th district for their continued community service and support. Established in 2019, Theory9 has hosted many holiday events, basketball tournaments and food drives for the Kingsbridge neighborhood. Theory 9 prides themselves on creating programs that introduce knowledge, self worth, and love while bringing education to the youth in underserved communities.
